He hadn't made it very far away from the trees before the wind brought another sound out of the woods. A voice. Hau's ears pricked. Animals and undead didn't speak. He couldn't make out the words, not with the din of the battle on his other side drowning them out, but it was a voice nonetheless.
Hau glanced back towards the Charger. From this angle he couldn't see the young lady. It didn't help that she was so tiny to begin with, but he had no reason to think she had moved from that spot. Further away, the monstrous undead was pinned, shaking and sparking under the assault of blue electricity from one of the police officers. And no new undead reinforcements were filtering out of the trees around it. For the moment, things seemed to be under control - if you used the term "control" loosely.
Someone lurking in the woods behind them didn't bode well. If they were dangerous, if there was more than one, the time had might have passed where he and the young lady could flee safely. And an ambush now had the potential to be fatal. As much as Hau felt the draw to return to his post, this screamed to be checked out. He didn't even need to get all that close to whoever it was, just near enough to understand the scope of the threat.
Slipping back into the trees, Hau traced a careful path towards where he had heard the voice. Not a direct route, he wanted to come up alongside if he could, that way he didn’t cross in front of them if they were spectating the fight in the parking lot. That was a distraction he could use to his advantage. As he got closer he scented the air, finally picking out the smell of a living breathing human from the mingled reek of decay and dirt. Using that as his guide he slowed his steps, unwilling to let weariness trip him up now, and craned his ears towards his target, listening for anything at all.

Stenson gritted his teeth against the last of the electrical charge as it surged through the monster. The giant creature seemed stunned by it, all of its components now either seizing or attacking each other, although Stenson was still stuck in the midst of them. He wrenched his limbs from their jittering grip and pushed onward, still kicking hard away and up to scale the thing's height until he reached the figure on top.
Already he could see the man jolt as well from the charge, before aiming once again at the ground. His rifle was trained on Jay, and Stenson let out a thundering roar of anger. With claws splayed, he swung an arm up in a slashing motion at the man's back to either knock him off balance or off completely. Jay, meanwhile, was pulled suddenly to the side by an unseen force as the bullet whizzed past his head. He stumbled to the side with arms flailing, skidding painfully to one knee as he landed. "WHat the-" He blurted, wiping one hand swiftly across the side of his head to check for any blood. The bullet had passed so close to him that he swore he felt a burn where its path had nearly crossed him. Meanwhile, the fox talisman gleamed mischievously against his uniform.
If some of the ambling ground skeletons began to dwindle in numbers, many of the officers by the cruisers would begin to regroup and shout into the dark at the unknown assailants approaching. Multiple "STOP WHERE YOU ARE" and "DON'T MOVE"'s echoed into the night.

zavijah:
she contemplated how to get Hau back towards where the other officers were without calling attention to him when he was too close to the two auras . . . . .the last thing she wanted to do was bring attention to him where he would be in harms way. . . . or worse. . . . killed. . . . she quietly prepared to go move in when she felt something hit her shoulder from the direction past the boulders. . . where their supposed escape route was. . . relatively hard where the skin was exposed. . . . her eyes glanced at the metallic shot with the feathered end. . . she was hit by something in a non vital area . . . either poisoned or tranquilized. . . she cursed under her breath. . .
she started to back away back towards the patrol cars. . .not wanting to become recaptured herself, or worse, be the reason Hau or anyone else was captured or killed. . . .she heard one of them demand 'go on!' rather loudly. . .when there was nothing to follow, she could only watch as one of the auras came apon the other, the two engaged in a struggle. . . she narrowed her eyes. . . she merely prepared to use the bottle tucked away in the sling with her left hand. . . using a rag to protect herself from the vial's contents. Hau seemed to went unnoticed as this played out. . . one was attacking the other, although she was not keen on the idea of yet another dying, Hau was not at the center of this and she was in no shape to stop it. . . .
---------------------------------------------
when Abby refused to move, pointing out something was wrong with the mud puppet, the young man, himself started to notice this and considered the events. . . the situation. . . before without another word, he pulled out a knife and rushed the woman . . . . .before pressing the blade against her throat. " go get the damn lamb or else." he growled. Abby struggled against the young man as he held the blade to her throat before he started to use it to press it further and further into her neck. . . he did not want her to live after all. . . in fact. . .there was the chance she could turn this entire mess back around on him, something he couldn't have. . " your word against my word, traitor. "
"fak . . . .you" she gargled as she struggled to push the knife away, already, it was biting deeper and deeper into her windpipe. at least if they get caught, as it started to seem more and more likely now. . . the traitor should she die was one less voice against them. . . . . she was too likely to spill the truth if they were caught. . . .the loose end needed to be dealt with and there were plenty whom were involved in this seal that a few more dead would not ultimately effect the outcome. . . .
-----------------------------------------------------------------
much to the would be assassin's annoyance, he was knocked off of the amassed mud puppet he was on by the roaring bastard. . . the gray monstrosity of another reason why he joined the group he did. . . still he fired one more round at the officer below before moving to try and stop his fall with one of the many bodies on the way down. . .grabbing arms. . . sliding down. . . cursing in a different tongue at the officer. if and when he is able to catch himself he will prepare to fight the officer hand to hand, since his gun will do nothing against whatever what was protecting him.
all the while the 3 folks whom were coming to back up the would be assassin and had guns opened fire on the police, while the others moved to try and close the gap on the police. . such not being anywhere easy considering they had to dodge bullets from potentially both sides. . . . out of the 10, 3 had guns, 2 decided to run away and report, one was dying [Abby] while the remaining 3 decided to try and close the gap to attack. . . . .non of them realizing all but one had talismans and the one who did not have a talisman was out of the line of fire for the three whom had a gun.
an ambush with no line of communication. no plan of attack. . . .
(edit: decided to not kill abby off as fast xD)

"Your word against my word, traitor."
Hau's ears flicked at the venom in those words. The rustle of leaves, scraping dirt, bitter curses - something was happening. He hurried his steps, not taking quite as much care. It was unlikely his targets would notice anyway, not with the racket they were making. As the bush parted and Hau caught sight of what was happening, recognition sparked almost instantly. That strange girl from before! And with a knife to her throat. He didn't recognize her aggressor, but he didn't take much time to look.
With hardly a thought he wrapped the knife in ice, the ache in the back of his head momentarily spiking in intensity as he did so. But now, with the edges blunted, it was no better a weapon than a particularly hard popsicle might be. He only hoped it wasn't too late, that the blade hadn't bitten too deep. He'd really had his fill of death tonight.
With a leap and a bound, Hau threw himself at the knife-wielding man, skewing himself to shoulder the young man in the side and off of Abby. In this form he only had about a third of his normal weight, but his little bit of momentum might make up for that. If it didn't, he'd try to snatch the back of the young man's clothes in his teeth and drag him away, anything to separate him from his victim.
Once they were clear, and assuming the young man was still enough, Hau could freeze him in place. Let the police take care of him, they probably had some very pressing questions they'd want answered.

Stenson's swipe connected with a satisfying thwack, but not before the gun in the man's hand went off. Jay was once more thrown unexpectedly to the side where he skidded to a stop and waved widely around at nothing as if he thought he'd been pushed by something unseen. The sight might've been comical if not for the danger he was currently subjected to. Stenson saw the man fall, grabbing at the tangle of limbs and bodies as he went. Not wanting to give him a chance to secure a climbing hold, Stenson dove after him, wings opening halfway in the dive and hands outstretched like an eagle ready to grab a fish. His aim was to grab the man mid-fall, bank upwards to carry him away from the mass of bodies and wrest the gun from his grip while airborne. Should he miss, Stenson would also grab hold of the monstrous puppet and simply climb back to the assassin to carry out his plan of disarming and subduing the criminal before leaping away from the creature with the man in tow.

zavijah:
As she waited, she noticed that Hau's aura suddenly lunged at one of the two quarreling auras. . . . she tensed, before groaning to herself, and pressing onward towards them. . .she's already forgotten that she had some time prior used a stimulant on herself . . . well, if she's going to blackout or die, it better be death should they fail- then the ones tied to this entire God-forsaken seal would experience a rebound. . . as she limped towards the two, she noticed that the one who Hau tackled was stumbling over, trying to keep his balance and failing. she quietly moved to get herself lower, before using her left hand to grab at the young man's pants leg as he stumbled closer and yanking up, causing the young man to finally lose balance and fall over- as he was already doing so. Without missing a beat, she then moved and kicked the young man in the groin, causing a muttered crack to sound. the young man squealed at the impact of the strike, before curling up in a ball to grab at the brutalized genitals. She did not want him to stand up, not to keep fighting, she knows she hit bone but at the exhaustion level she was at with the stimulant and the tranquilizer in effect, she just does not want to deal with the young man.
She released the leg of the young man before glancing towards where Hau was. She was too tired if the young man was going to attempt to keep fighting. . "Hau, are you alright? "
If she was honest, had she left the two be, Hau would of very well, had knocked the young man over- she just did not want him to have to deal with having to deal with a long topple seeing how he was prior. . . .both of them perhaps need to sleep it off, she thinks.
"what the fuu . . aack do you mean 'how are you. . . alri- NO " the young man growled as he was seething in pain. She glanced over at the other aura. . .a young woman? she was holding onto her neck with blood pouring out perfusely. . . she narrowed her eyes at the sight, before limping over towards the woman. . . the young woman was glaring at her as if she was staring at something truely disqusting. . she pulled a rag out as the woman seemed to glare at her- even with the life fleeting out of her eyes. she moved the young woman's hand out of her way and applied pressure onto the cut wound with cloth in her left hand.
all the while the young man was holding himself, glaring at the oversized blue fox for knocking him down. . .he wants to skin the beast for putting him in this position. . .
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As the would-be assassin tried to grapple onto one of the hands to finally stop falling, had he but a few more moments, he would have been able to reengaged back into the battle. Instead, he was grappled by the gray monstrous form of the officer who had knocked him off in the first place. He immediately tried to train the gun onto the officer flying off with him, only for the rifle to be grabbed, preventing him from gaining a clear shot. This further pissed him off, before he decided to try go hand to hand with the stone guardian. he released the gun before trying to make a grab for the officer instead. should he do so, he will pull himself up to kick at the officer's head.
the others who were closing in, noticed the winged officer carry the head of this operation being whisked away into the sky. . .
This was perhaps a terrible idea. If Gareth can't handle a measily handful of officers, chances were they were not going to do any better. so instead of further closing in, they started to fall back, forwarding the message to the 3 shooting at the officers to fall back, and provide cover fire . . .they were painfully ilprepared for the potentiality of Gareth atcually failing.

Abby's attacker pitched sideways at the impact and fell hard to the forest floor. Hau stumbled to find his balance, pivoted back round on him just in case he was quick enough to roll back to his feet, but found he didn't need to. The young lady had him by the pant leg and as he watched she delivered a devastating kick to the young man while he lay there, glaring at them. It was very much deserved, but Hau still felt himself flinch internally.
"Hau, are you alright?"
He snorted, then was interrupted when the young man answered instead. How could he still be feeling so brave? Considering what the young lady had just done, here he was still running his mouth and clearly misinterpreting a question that wasn't meant for him anyway. Hau gave an irritable snarl, head dipping low so he was right in their captive's face and his warning could be understood. Be quiet. Just lay still and wait for the police. To make sure he did so, Hau pinned him with a few thick bands of ice over whatever part of the young man was most vulnerable. Ankles or wrists preferably. Waist or neck if he had to, but nothing potentially dangerous. He'd stay right where he'd fallen, where he couldn't do anymore damage.
Hau bit back on a whimper as the pain in his head predictably ratcheted up but didn’t recede this time. Too much, he was using the ice too much. The ache had gone past a warning now, he was probably flirting with a migraine at this point. But he wasn’t worried about that right now. He turned to the young woman and Abby, letting loose a concerned whine for both of them, feeling adrenaline shiver through him at the sight of so much blood. Was that even survivable? He hesitated to consider the answer instead nudging the young lady gently, careful so as not to make her lose her grip, tacitly asking if there was any chance that the injured girl would make it.

Stenson grabbed the man mid-fall, claws clasping onto fabric in a secure grip and wings flaring to slow their descent into a glide. The gargoyle banked up, evening out and away from the monstrosity that was the man's giant puppet of dead things. The rifle whirled in an attempt to aim at Stenson, but a strong clawed hand closed quickly around the barrel and wrenched the gun from the man's hands. In his distraction to avoid getting shot, Stenson was ill prepared for the man's sudden kick to his head. The foot collided solidly on his jaw, forcing his head slightly to the side and earning a growling snarl from the grey beast. Stenson shook the man once like a scruffed kitten, mostly to jostle him, before circling around and back towards the police cars with the assassin in one hand and the rifle in the other.
With a few heavy beats of his wings, Stenson came in for a rough but successful landing. As his taloned feet touched the ground, he ran off his momentum before coming to a full stop. Plumes of dust lifted into the air in front of them from his flared wings.
With an angry grunt, Stenson shoved the man to the ground and pinned him there under a splayed, clawed hand. He set the gun to the side, well out of the man's reach and grabbed at the man's arms to pull them together behind him, further securing the criminal. Jay was already sprinting towards them, face flushed and voice cracking as he called out to them.
"AYE! Ya got 'im! Awesome!" He shouted as he worked his handcuffs from his belt. His eyes were wild with adrenaline as he ducked under Stenson's wings and dropped to one knee to clasp the man's hands together. Stenson remained silent, still focused on keeping the man still so that Jay could safely secure him. The moment he was done, Stenson would haul the man to his feet and throw him over one winged shoulder before striding heavily towards the line of cruisers. Any undead in his way, he would quickly swat them aside with a back-hand to their heads. More or less aiming to knock the skulls from their boney shoulders so they would be out of their misery. He needed to get the man into his charger so that he could find Zavijah and the blue fox.

The young man glared back but seemed to understand the gist of the kitsune growling mere inches from his face, before being startled by the ice suddenly forming around his wrists, legs, body, and neck. he was in too much pain from the kick but given the proximity of the ice around his wrists to his groin, he tried to press it against the ice- just a little bit. avoid swelling and hope the bitch didn't break anything.
-------------------------------------------------------
zavijah:
she glanced over towards Hau when he gently nudged her before noticing the injury on the shifter. . . all the while the young woman seemed to shiver. As limited as her skills are in healing, she had little faith that the woman will pull through; she had already lost so much blood and was still bleeding. Hau, although wounded and with a frozen knife within his shoulder, will more than likely make it. Her reaction would be to remove it and burnt the wound shut; however on those not similar to her- it was 'safer' to leave it alone for a while. if anything, the ice seemed to hold pressure on the wound when it expanded from the blade.
So he should be ok for the moment. "It will be alright, Hau " she assured before noticing the gunfire dying down. " I apologize you were dragged into this. "
This was when the young woman tried to move the swordsman's hand off of her neck. zavijah sharply snapped her head towards the young woman as she seemed to weakly try and push at the callused bloodstained hand. "Let me. . . go. " she tiredly pleaded.
"No. "
"Why are you. . .helping me? " she demanded.
"Silence. . . Cease your words. "
"you don't get it." she breathed. "you helping me. . .will only put me on their -" she cringed abit. " list."
". . . . I have perfect clarity as to what they might do- if they heed strictly to The Geclænsian Scrolls. "
"The. . .what? " she asked rather strained.
"You do not get to die. And I doubt the officers will allow you to be harmed just because I aided you. " the swordsman replied. " not without a fight."
at this, the young woman seemed to quiet, at least for a little bit. Abby seemed more scared now then she seemed to have hated the halfblood's guts. "Cops can't protect me forever. "
". . . Not every member will evade from becoming the fodder. You're a child in a cult of genocide, it would not be until tis too late to see the light when you see the unbridled truth of what you fight for." she continued to hold pressure to the neck, she seemed to shake more, become lethargic. She narrowed her eyes at the young woman. "Steel yourself. For should you die now, there will be no saving you from a fate worse than death. While you bare a broken seal, the afterlife remains unreachable to you, death will never end as a concept; Everdying, yet none will recall of you. None will be able to hear nor see you. Nao cease your banter. And focus on breathing and stay awake. " she growled.
"How would you know?" she questioned.
"You're not the first of their affiliation to cross paths with me. Nor was their existence a secret where I hailed from."
----------------------------------------------------
The would-be assassin continued to try and kick the officer until he was slammed into the ground, letting out a gruff grunt. he struggled to try and right himself, but where the officer placed his stony weight mechanically pinned him, so he started to try and summon more undead.
Well, tried.
while he was attempting to cast the spell, the lighting user rushed towards them and began to throw cuffs onto the wound-be assassin's wrist. The charms on the cuffs dispelling Gareth's magic. When the would-be assassin's magic was dispelled, it not only prevented him from casting any more spells or summoning any more undead- but it neutralized the undead who were stunned by the lighting into slumping heaps of flesh, bone, and mud.
The three who retreated back towards the other three who were providing cover fire converged. When it was certain that they were clear, the collective 6 ran and scattered into the streets and the cover of darkness. The gunfire stopping. It was at this moment, Gareth knew that he was beaten, and loathed the newer members of the little group.
he will need to insure that no information can be gained from him. the false cap in his left-back molar contained a beta-blocker within it. one that he knows effects him for a couple of months time. . .

Hau wasn’t sure what the young lady was apologizing for. Yes, he wished he’d stayed in bed this morning, but he hardly considered this situation to be her fault. Even if she was deeply involved as her conversation with Abby suggested – he cocked his head at the mention of some sort of scrolls – he highly doubted that she had intended anyone any harm.
With the rush of the fight fading, new pains came to light. His shoulder ached, felt stiff and unresponsive. He hadn’t hit the young man that hard, had he? Glancing over, he caught sight of something in the periphery of his vision and realization suddenly dawned. The knife! He twisted his head around, testing to see how close he could get his mouth to the jutting handle, or at least get a look at the damage. He couldn’t crane his head sharply enough to see it, but his muzzle managed to brush the tip. He’d been so focused on getting the young man off Abby he didn’t even feel the sting of it till now. Though the flesh around it was numb from the ice, there was deep nebulous ache in his shoulder that hinted at worse to come as soon as it thawed. If he let it. He had that in his control at least.
The ambient sound of gunfire had slowed, ceased. Hau limped to the edge of little clearing and from there could clearly see the parking lot and the opposite tree line. If he hadn’t suspected that the pair had been spying on them before, this would have clinched it. Scattered across the impromptu battlefield, the undead were sprawled in heaps on the ground, not a single one of them moving. The gargantuan mound of undead was now a loose pile of refuse, not the tightly packed writhing monstrosity it had been moments before. The sniper that had sat atop it was gone. It took a moment before Hau spied him slung over gargoyle-man’s back. The rest of the police were regrouping by the cars.
Hau barked, deep and loud, trying to call their attention. A quick glimpse back at Abby and the young lady and the blood soaking into the ground around them and more urgency crept into his voice. They needed help over here now!

When they approached Stenson's Charger, he pulled the door open and secured the man inside. He gave a satisfied grunt and then began to lumber towards where he could hear the others. A few officers rushed to keep watch over Stenson's prisoner and their own cruisers, reaching for radios to try and contact help while two joined Stenson and Jay to help Hau and Zavijah. As the voices grew louder, Stenson slowed his pace. Afterall, he needn't forget his current appearance. It wouldn't do to scare the daylights out of the others, at least if he could help it.
"Zavijah. Hau. Are you hurt?". Stenson's smell, stronger than his human form, picked up on traces of blood. "Guys?" He asked again, approaching the treeline and moving some branches out of the way to clear his line of sight on them. From their end, they would see a large clawed hand pushing through the bushes to reveal the snarling muzzle of a concerned gargoyle.

zavijah:
If she was honest, she was not much of a fan of Hau barking, in general. . . true- he had a valid reason, she wasn't normally loud and they need their help if they were going to be able to help the lost innocence; ensure she does not die and befall a fate worse than death. It was good one of them was loud, but that's where her issue was and will die given the situation. . .That and the battle itself was far louder than him- he was merely trying to save the lost one.
her ear twitched when she heard footsteps and the groveled voice of one of the officers calling their names? She glanced behind her, seeing the group of auras approaching their general direction, guided by Hau's barking. Stenson and Jay were among them. "Hau is badly injured, a knife to his . . . chest? " she does not know what parts of the shifter's body would be considered as what. " his front near his upper forearm. We are also among two of the ones who came in response to the calling. One of them had struck the other in the neck with the same knife. He is on the ground and hindered at the moment, but the one he attacked barely lives. She and Hau need help the most. " She called back, answering Stenson's calls.
Then she witnessed Stenson claw away gently the thicket that broke their line of sight. . . . It was. . .different, seeing Stenson in this different form. Perhaps had it not been for her ability to see the auras of living and otherwise- she might of not recognized him. Perhaps seeing auras was the only reason she recognized Hau, as well.
"I do not have use of my right arm at the moment. . . .They both need help. I've been holding pressure apon her neck, but her life is fleeting fast. " she stated. She couldn't help them both at the same time. . . "If she dies, her soul will be absorbed into the seal carved into the mountainside we are on as energy for when the next lunar cycle sets apon it. " she urged.
"This seal grants immunity to weapons to those who succeed for the first time it is done. Those who fail or die before it is completed, are used to energize it for the next cycle - if not to collapse the seal, itself. Stenson, I am the 6th of the 7 targeted to complete this seal. The last will look very similar to Hau, with a difference of having horns hidden under blue hair. Similar to me, yet different. Just as all of the others were. " she stated.
At the sight of the shifted officer, the young man tried to get up only to be restrained by the ice and pain shooting through him- though fear had struck him apon seeing the claw and muzzle. Abby, although severely weakened, more or less started to breath shallowly and quickly- her eyes bugging at the sight.

As he saw a handful of the police turn towards the woods and start forging in his direction, Hau gave a few more higher pitched, rapid fire barks before he limped back into the clearing. He didn't want to get underfoot if they couldn't see him through the trees. So Hau returned to Abby and the young woman - Zavijah, if he'd heard that shout correctly - stepping carefully around the pooling blood and seating himself nearby, fighting a strong urge to just lay down and not get back up.
Very soon it turned out his choice to move was the right one. The gargoyle had seemed quite large from a distance but now up close Hau realized he had underestimated his size. The face that poked through the foliage was well above his head. Even with how generously tall his fox form was, Hau had to crane his head back to see the police officer. The gargoyle's ferocious visage was almost comically at odds with the pinched expression of worry he wore.
This wasn't very reassuring to their prisoners and a soft whimper met Hau's ears. He glanced back at the young man that he had pinned and found himself quietly gratified to see the fear in his eyes and his vain attempt at escape. Served him right. On the other hand though, Hau was saddened to see how frightened Abby had become. He reached out with his stiff, injured leg and placed a paw on her shoulder, trying to be comforting but probably failing miserably.
Zavijah's lengthy explanation of the situation went over his head, just as her scroll talk had before, but two things caught his attention this time. First, apparently he had been mistaken for some part of this seal? That put some of this ordeal into perspective. Second, he finally knew gargoyle-man's name was Stenson. Next time he waited a table, he was going to get his customers' names up front, just in case.

Stenson swept a brief look across the rag-tag group of injured and scared individuals. He quickly recognized Zavijah, the bright blue fox that was Hau, and two others. One, a girl, he recognized as the female from the coffee shop he and Zavijah had visited. She looked like she'd seen better days, and Stenson felt a pang of worry at the amount of blood coming from her neck. The male looked partially frozen and also less than well. His main concern was the girl, and his friends of course.
He stepped fully through the bushes, rear claws sinking easily into the wet leaves and grassy clearing. His wings shifted and brushed their way roughly through the branches before folding solidly behind him. Zavijah explained the other's condition, brushing off her own as she typically did. Stenson did not miss her overly exhausted look, something he'd be sure was treated when the time came. However, she was right. Hau and the girl were more obviously in need of help. He could see the knife embedded in Hau's shoulder, it's edge surrounded by a layer of ice. It seemed to be stable thanks to that detail, which left only the girl. She was still bleeding openly from her neck wound and most likely had precious little time left.
Stenson's head swung to the side where the other officers who followed had begun to congregate. A shining green token hanging from one of the officer's shoulders caught his eye, more specifically the rabbit carved into the jade surface. Stenson took a heavy step towards the officer and gestured at the rabbit. The officer nodded, unfastened the talisman and dropped it into the large waiting palm of the gargoyle.
"Here." Stenson grumbled, turning back to Zavijah and offering the talisman to her. The clawed hand was comically larger than Zavijah, but in the center waited the green talisman. He wasn't sure how they worked exactly, and trusted her to do it right. Reflective silver-orange eyes shone down at her from his shadowed face, almost angry in appearance. Something he couldn't quite help, of course. Unfortunately, it appeared Zavijah had not a free hand to take the offered rabbit talisman, and so with Zavijah's instruction, Stenson then moved to do as she told.

The young man who was trapped under the ice stared up at the officer in fear before it twisted more and more into anger, to rage. He did not want to submit to a bunch of cops! what was he, a child?! on top of which, they were Monsters! They don't deserve the respect they demand. They deserve to be in the ground! He started to try and fight his way free out of the ice. . . If he cant break himself free he will attempt to dig himself out. . .
Either way, fruitless since the ice encasing him had permeated through the water that had dampened the ground due to the mud fight, prior. Yet the young man had an aray of colorful language to spew at the entire group and how he was going to make every single one of them pay. Especially the red headed female cop and the supers. Turns out he hates Scottish people as well as supers.
zavijah:
She knew not if they heeded or ignored the explanation. . . of what that seal does. . .how it functions. Hau seemed just as lost as he was prior when she spoke of the seal. . . The girl she was holding pressure on seemed to try and struggle away when Stenson neared them. . . she just about pinned her to keep pressure on the girl's neck all the while Abby did weakly grab for Hau's paw. Perhaps it was merely not the time. . . Too much going on. . . .but seeing that the enemy had clearly fled, and they were safe at the moment. . . . now was perfect. . .only ones close enough to hear were the two at their feet. . .
The fight had startled most if not all animals away from the area and the people who were stalking the woodlands around them fled as well when the Corpse weaver, the Mud flinger; was captured. The swordsman glanced down towards the frightened girl whom seemed to stare at Stenson with terror as he stepped away. . . .wondering if the girl was ill fated as to be yet another who died in her hands. . .
"here" he gruffed. She glanced over to see he offered one of the rabbit talismans from prior. . . perhaps one of the officers had removed it for the girl's sake. . .She quietly pondered simply grabbing it but her right arm was broken. . . and she was too short to reach from where she was with her mouth. . . Not in a preferable position to grab it with her foot. . . "If you simply place the talisman apon the girl. . . .it will mend her wounds. . . .with this, it only needs to be in physical contact to work properly. " she explained.
she watched the officer place or drop the talisman onto the girl and waited for her arteries and vains that were damaged to seal. . . It did not take long for the talisman to begin this either. . . If anything, she could feel the aura from the talisman moving over the wound like a gelatinous force. Yet only spiritually would it be noticed to an outside force . . .The girl seemed to shutter, yet relax? as the tissue was slowly reconnected and the pain began to wane. When zavijah was absolutely sure that the blood vessels had sealed, she released the girl's neck, grabbed her hand and moved it to where now the girl gets to hold her neck shut. . .
"Alright. . .Hau, you will be safer with the officers, especially nao that you are injured and there are others who had escaped. Stenson" she started, forcing herself to stand back up. "If you have a map and the marked locations on it as to where the bodies were found, I will be able to mark where the other bodies are, the seal as well as where the last spot will be-" after taking a step as she turned, she suddenly dropped as if lifeless. Abby yelped seeing this while the young man started to rant more and belittle the migit for being 'weak'.
Her body had lost consciousness and stopped breathing, all the while bruising started to swell and rip along her skin menacingly, yet she still had a pulse.
