“Would I ever.”
Ru beamed down at his boyfriend, giving his shoulder a gentle little squeeze. He couldn’t imagine loving anyone more, honestly. Simon’s physical affection and company were like a breath of fresh air for him. If he could breathe, anyways.
He pulled out his phone again, handing it to the other two.
“I work nightshifts five days a week, but otherwise, my schedule is open. I can…um, be awake and stuff during the day, I’m just really really sleepy…”
A walking corpse was a better way to explain it, but Ru wasn’t sure that was the best or most polite way to describe that sort of thing. Instead, he just fidgeted with his hands, and waited nervously to see when the other two thought there was a good day to meet.
When Simon was done, he handed the phone to Thea.
“I’m such a homebody… I really need to do more…”

Simon nudged Ru back lightly with a little smile on his lips. He was comfortable, in his element. With his friends, in a bar, eating fries. He was making a decent dent in the fries, and they weren't half bad. He should know, he'd eaten a lot of bad fries.
The werewolf shook his head at Thea's manager's planning. That was one of the things he liked about his job. He knew when he worked. Well. Mostly. He had a bad habit of doing paperwork late.
"I don't miss those different weekly schedules," Simon reflected on his high school jobs, "That sucks, yeah, just let us know. I'm open most weekends, and I'm typically done with work at six."
Simon would happily live on his couch. He didn't, he got outside, he spent time with friends, but he had to admit: he loved his couch.

Theadora took the phone for reference, though she didn't linger and handed it back "I will send my schedule to both of you once i have it - then we can schedule it appropriately, yes?"
She hoped that her dance class teaching wouldn't get in the way of this, but she'd just have to roll the dice and get her schedule first.
She was about to say more when her phone vibrated, and she quickly checked it. "ah... hm" She huffed "Well, dance class this week has been cancelled due to some incident in the studio - seems i have more time than I thought I would."

Ru smiled back at Simon. It was hard to imagine that just a year ago, he didn’t have a boyfriend. Simon brought him so much joy and love. He enjoyed laying with him on the couch, and he loved spending time with him going places and doing things. And he would certainly enjoy spending time watching movies with him and his friend.
“Well. Any time really works for me. I’m a night shift guy but I can move my hours around if needed.”
He wondered if Thea was one of those people who loved being overwhelmed with work. Did she sleep? He wasn’t ever entirely sure, but he hoped so.

Simon's sizable eyebrows raised in surprise. A dance studio incident? That closed the place for an entire week? What had happened? A pipe burst? Explosion?
"Holy- did somebody die or something, Thea? I'm glad you got more time, is everything okay?"
Simon sratched his chin, and went to wipe ketchup off his hands on a napkin. He peered at his boyfriend then back at Thea.
"Alrighty then. Why don't we have a movie night Thursday or something, then? We can make some snacks and then watch something awful."

"Oh, no." Thea reassured "It seems that a rather... excited 12 year old broke the balance bar" She couldn't hold back a chuckle "That is a useful tool. It will have to be replaced as soon as possible"
It was a small studio - if one thing is broken no one can work. She was sure it'd get fixed soon. She was paid per class taught (and so were most of the other specialty teachers) so it better get that way
"Thursday should be fine, yes" She agreed, before starting to yawn yet again. She seemed to be hitting her limit

“Thursday works for me too.”
He glanced down at Thea, smiling. The woman did look tired, and like she was trying to go home for the night. The vampire reorganized his brain, trying to think of ways that weren’t awkward to wind down the social interaction. Simon’s lead was usually the right one in these kinds of situations.
“It was good to meet you, Thea.”
He squeezed Simon’s hand, and glanced at his boyfriend, as if asking if it was time to head home. They had a messy apartment to clean, and some food to make for Simon.

"Whew, good, had me worried."
At least that could be fixed. He knew money was tight for his friend sometimes, and while having time off was good, the lady needed to eat.
Simon stretched his non-Ru-arm over his head, yawning in response to Thea. Then, he smooched Ru on the cheek. Yeah, it was time to go home. Fries had been filling, but they wouldn't be with him for very long.
"We'll see you then! Thanks for meeting with us. It was good to see you, lady."
He took out his wallet to pay, making sure to tip well. They'd sat around and been loud long enough, and everything had been good. Besides, Thea worked here. He wasn't about to stiff her coworker.

"it was wonderful to meet you Ru" Thea gave him a smile - honest, if a little tired, before giving her attention to Simon.
"It was good to see you too" She says as she stands up, before holding up a hand to Simon as he pulled out his wallet "Ah! No! Put that away. It is on my tab"
As if she would let Simon pay at the place she works - come on now. She put on her jean jacket as she stood, grabbing her bag "You are both alright to get home?"

Ru’s eyes widened a little at Thea’s offer, but he nodded, accepting. At least, as a vampire, he hadn’t ordered much, and neither had Simon. Still, if her budget was a little more modest than his or Simon’s, it didn’t seem fair to have her pay. His fingers danced over the pocket that held his wallet, but he nodded reluctantly at his new friend’s words.
He then nodded at her second statement. Even if Simon was tired, Ru was wide awake. It was daylight hours that weakened him and made him feel like he’d fall asleep. The night was young and he was as alive as he could be.
“…Th…thanks. I’ll pay next time.”
The vampire said weakly, flashing his white fangs as he smiled at her. He then glanced down at Simon, and adjusted his grip on his boyfriend’s hand, before leading him towards the front door.
“…Have a good night! We’ll see you soon.”
Ru wandered with Simon and Theadora until the exited the bar and moved out into the street. The night’s air was crisp and carried the tartness of a cool spring night. He worried, briefly, about Simon, but remembered the man was resistant to the cold, almost as much as he was as a vampire.
Once he was out of earshot, he smiled down at Simon.
“She seems nice. We’ll have to tidy up a little before she comes to visit for movie night.”
