[OOC - Kira checks out the seating and then moves to Ashe, curious of what the woman is doing.] [Rolls:] N/A [HP:] 13 [Items:] Stapler, Scissor blade
Kira floated along behind Hau, her outstretched wings still tense and twitching as if to right herself in flight but after the elevator ride she felt a bit more certain of her current weightless situation. Once inside the ship, she peered around. Her eyes were wide with a mix of worry and curiosity. Now that things were quiet and calmer, her shoulder became more of a nuisance with the pain.
Wanting to distract herself, Kira floated to the seating arrangement, reaching out and touching the surfaces, the straps or belts, anything of interest that caught her eye in the moment. The Ashe woman from earlier entered as well and went to a hatch in the floor. Intrigued, Kira timidly followed her and carefully approached from the side. Her eyes darted from the hatch to the woman's face, as if to ask what she was doing. But she remained silent, her ears flattened in uncertainty. She didn't know this woman, but Kira's interest and desire to distract from the pain drew her to what Ashe was doing. As Ashe worked at the hatch, Kira floated just nearby in case there was any need for help.
Others floated in eventually as well, and each one earned a flinching glance from Kira who in turn edged a tiny bit closer to Ashe simply out of nervous reaction.

[Hanger]
Hau and Kail inspect the cockpit. Nothing here looks remotely familiar to either of you except for, perhaps, the yoke. This contraption is sleek and black and must be how you control the ship, if only you could get it to start. Each chair has one of them, but the one on the left is clearly marked as the primary pilot seat.
You’ve just about given up when Hau stumbles upon a small screen to the side of the pilot seat. It looks oddly familiar to you, and you recognize it as a tiny version of the administration terminal you found in the offices. A little bit of fiddling with it - after giving it your credentials - and you’re given the option of assigning a pilot.
Please enter the name of the pilot you would like to assign to Hornet 36B.
Takui and Kira search the ship. As you drop down the hatch you find yourself in a recreation room of sorts - complete with couch, a couple of flat screens that might be the equivalent of televisions and a mini fridge-type affair. To the left you can see a door with a small window, beyond which stretches a corridor, whereas to the right is a door jointly labelled 'shower room' and 'WC'. So far, there is nothing untoward; no sound or sight of anything amiss.
Sarkany, Sam and Simon attempt to reach the ship. You would have risked the same 'floating off into the ceiling of the massive hangar' issue as those who came before, if it weren't for an abrupt change to the station...
As you go about your various tasks and searches the gravity suddenly turns back on. You fall a thankfully short distance, landing on your feet or your rump. The injured feel the jar of their wounds as they impact the ground. But the route for those outside the ship is clear and the door slides open as the other 'passengers' reach it. Hau's transponder dings with a chirpy confirmation and informs him that 15million credits have been debited to his account.
"Thank you for your purchase. The total cost of your flight is 15 million credits, which has been automatically debited to your account. We hope you have enjoyed your time on Odesa-5, please come back soon!"
“Please be advised that gravity has been reinstated throughout the station,” Tetra says over the PA system. “Thank you for your continued patience and understanding while we bring our systems back online.”
No sooner has she finished speaking than a new noise echoes through the hanger. It’s a haunting sound, loud and from a distance, somewhere between a howl and whale song. It reverberates up from the depths of Odesa-5, rumbling up the elevator you’ve just escaped.
And in the wreckage of the other vehicles shadows, unseen and quiet, begin to stir.

[OOC: Kail encourages Hau to take the main pilot seat. Gets in the co-pilot seat and continues to try to figure out controls to get the ship to move] Rolls: n/a
Kail rummaged around the cockpit with the blue-haired boy, feeling his frustrations rise with each passing second. He didn't know what any of this was - except for vaugely understanding how the yoke worked. His ears pricked as Hau fiddled with the screen. 15 million credits, whatever that meant, sounded expensive. He glanced back into the depths of the ship as the remaining survivors clambered aboard. Time to go.
"Hey, I ain't much good with tech stuff. You should be the pilot. You're payin' after all." He grinned halfheartedly at Hau, clapping one clawed hand carefully on the kitsunes shoulder.
The wendigo slid into the co-pilot seat, clawed hands gripping the sleek material of the yoke. How hard could flying an extremely futuristic, high-tech spaceship be? Especially with limited time to learn and the pressure of being torn to shreds waiting for them should they fail.
The wendigo glanced over to Hau as the howl reverberated through the ship, his grip on the yoke tightening.
"Let's get the fuck outta here."

[OOC: Hau assigns himself as pilot and jumps into the pilot seat. Once everyone is aboard he’ll attempt to take off.] [HP: 25] [Items: Padded jacket, half a pair of scissors, multitool, transponder]
Little on the console was readily familiar except the steering column in front of the pilot seat, but it would be useless unless they could get the ship going. Hau leaned over, trying to get a look at everything, no matter how small, when he found the screen. It had the same font and the same interface as the admin terminal did. It prompted him for credentials then asked for a pilot.
He hesitated, then keyed in his own name. The transponder dinged in response and he automatically checked it. Not confirmation of his status change, but notification of payment. Hau winced at the number. It wasn’t worth pondering where he’d gotten that outrageous sum of money, but he was grateful he'd had it.
He nodded at the man with the horns, sliding into the pilot’s seats and gripping the yoke experimentally. “Yeah, let’s do this.” Even with the sound of the howl dampened by distance and the ship’s walls, it still raised the hair on the back of his neck. Definitely time to go. “Everyone should strap in somewhere.” He glanced back, making sure everyone was on board and the doors had shut before trying to fire the Hornet up to make their escape.

[Kira continues with Ashe to investigate the corridor. The gravity-now-on fall hurts too, of course!] [Rolls:] N/A [Items:] Stapler, Scissor blade [HP:] 13
Kira floated down through the hatch just behind Ashe. She glanced all about, taking in her new surroundings while still keeping Ashe within sight. Her mind wandered briefly back to topside, where Hau was, but she hadn't gone far and she felt somewhat safe with this other person for now. They at least hadn't tried to harm her or Hau. When a glowering look drifted her way from Ashe, however, Kira timidly looked down and away to avoid making direct eye contact. In her weightless state, she was unable to shrink away as she normally would so instead settled for a slight curl of her body to appear smaller. When Ashe's attention went back to searching the room, Kira relaxed a little again.
Her own attention went to the room as well, looking over the furniture, screens, and other objects. Another area that reminded her of Jedidiah's home and furniture, but in a more alien sort of way. She glanced momentarily at some of the doors to their right before noticing Ashe continuing down the corridor.
And then gravity returned.
Kira thankfully wasn't high up to begin with, but the fall was still a shock to her sore shoulder as she hit the ground. A small grunt of pain escaped her, and she grasped her wounded arm with gritted teeth, trying to remain quiet. She was still all too aware of the dangers they had just escaped, and any outcry would mean drawing unwanted attention. Instead, she waited for the worst of the pain to subside before hurrying quietly off to follow Ashe, afraid of being left behind and alone. When she'd caught up, she looked up at Ashe with a mixture of shame and embarrassment, still holding her shoulder and random items.
