Jedidiah:
He was writing notes down as he waited for the device to measure the patient's temperture. . . eventually he glanced up to read it. . .and recorded the temperture. "Alright, thank you, can you please open your mouth?" he asked. He would carefully remove the device from Mr. Albercroft's mouth, and popped the cap off before throwing it away. . . the only part that does go into the patient's mouth before he set the device aside for sanitation. "So, Mr. Albercroft, Do you have any coughing, sneezing? Any syndromes, and for how long?" he asked.

Grim opened his mouth as asked showing rather sharp jagged teeth, more like a dog’s set up than human. Inside was more of a dark purple than pink. Grim looked at him when he started asking about coughing. Sure he was a little run down but was he sick?
“No coughing but my throat has been a little itchy and my nose too. Bit hazy in the head but uh that was because of these white pellet things... I think... Why? Am I dying or something?”
Grim looked genuinely concerned. He so rarely went to the doctor it was hard to know. He didn’t really think about his health much.

Jedidiah:
He pulled his light out before again having the half goblin open his mouth and used a popicle stick to look at the back of his throat, before using the light to look and judge the dilation rate of the eyes. . . Doting more notes down, before throwing the popicle stick away. The inflimation on the back of the throat did indicate coughing or irritation in the area. there was swelling in the area as well as swollen lymph nodes to note.
"I believe you may have the common cold, Mr. Albercroft. " he replied. "You are displaying some of the common symptoms of the cold. . .Though it does not seem to be as sever of a case to bed-bound you. Though I do not know if its due to your immune system or if its due to the cold being in its earlier stages. " he explained.
"I strongly advise rest, and warm liquids such as chicken noodle soup- mostly the broth. . or tea with honey." he stated. "I also recommending a Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug, cough drops, Antihistamine and an decongestant. " he stated. Writing down the drug names and placing next to them which was which. . . . the nurses were kind enough to tell him about the general value variants that were the same drugs, just with the brand name removed, so around 30% cheaper in general.
"The Nonsterodial anti-inflammatory drug will help reduce your fever. . . it is mild but I would like to see it reduced before it worsens. Cough drops would help with your cough, Antihistamine will help reduce allergic reactions. . .this would include any irritants that would worsen your state due to a weakened immune system, and the decongestant will help with any congestion within your nasal cavity. blockages or excessive mucus. " he continued.
He then tore the doctor's note free of the note pad before giving it to the patient. "This is a list of drugs I recommend you pick up if you are able. But at minimal, Breaking the fever, cough drops, rest, and warm liquids such as soup and tea I strongly advise you try and accomplish. We do not have a pharmacy within the clinic, but there are a few stores near by that do have pharmacy attached who can provide these. . . though non of the drugs on the list are over the counter, so you should be able to pick them up from the store shelfs. " he continued.
If anything, he in a way gave the patient a shopping list. and the general value drugs would just have the drug chemical names instead of a brand name that makes it sound like candy. . . . hes never been a fan of drugs that sound like candy or candy that look like pills. . . . nothing good can come from that. "Do you have any questions?" he asked.

Grim shook his head even though most of what the doctor had said sounded like babble to him. He took the list but it would be very unlikely he got the drugs. He would just ride it out, it was just a common cold after all. Probably from his stupid weak human side.
“So there’s nothing else wrong with me? Perfectly healthy... apart from a cold. Thanks doc.”

Jedidiah:
He hesitently nodded. ". . . .generally? . . .yes. . . Just fair warning, Mr. Albercroft." he started. "It is the milder illnesses you have to worry about. . . Not because of how hard they strike, how bad you feel, or anything of the sort. . . . but it is because it would exhaust your immune system. . . so when a much stronger illness hits while your immune system is recovering. . . . You have a lower chance of fighting it off. " he explained.
"Just. . . try to let yourself rest and break the fever. " he sighed. "Do not push yourself or put yourself in situations where there is a high demand on strength you do not have while you are sick. "

Grim sighed letting out a small cough. The doctor was probably right. He did know a particularly nice soup place and he was about to get paid... hopefully. He had after all found out the doctor was single and honestly would probably stay that way for a while.
“Fine... I’ll rest. Thanks doc. Real sorry about today. And uh sorry about the drunk stuff..”
Grim shook his head, he really didn’t like the idea of people remembering things about him that he did not.

Jedidiah:
"Its alright. " he replied. "In the end, you did end up getting some help before your condition worsened. " he pointed out. "Might be a minor cold, but better to catch and nip the illness as early as possible than to discover your sick when the symptoms are obvious and sever. "
He tries to look at the brighter things in life. . . .Alot of folks when they end up in his care have already been through enough pain and despair. . . the best he can do is offer a hand in trying to get them back to where they were physically. . . If the patient gives up, their chances of survival plummet.
Best to try his best. And give them an honest glance at things.
